Spurred by the fact that cardiovascular disease is America's No. 1 killer, four million AHA volunteers are working to prevent heart disease and stroke. The American Heart Association relies on these volunteers to execute successful events that raise vital funds to help reduce disability and death due to heart disease and stroke.

WE COULDN'T DO IT WITHOUT ALL OF THE DEDICATED VOLUNTEERS WHO MAKE THIS EVENT A SUCCESS - THANK YOU!!!

Important Volunteer Facts

  • All volunteers will receive a classic Lawyers Have Heart t-shirt as a token of our appreciation.
  • Once you fill out the above volunteer form, an AHA staff member will be in contact to confirm you as a volunteer.
  • We are happy to accomodate groups of volunteers so recruit your friends, family and colleagues to work alongside you. This volunteer activity can be used for service hours for students.
  • Please arrive at The Washington Harbour at Georgetown and report to the volunteer check-in near the upper (small) fountain no later than 15 minutes before your volunteer shift begins to pick up your t-shirt and to be directed to your volunteer site. Please do not go directly to your volunteer site without checking in.
